Visited the cafe while cycling to Plover Cove Dam. The cafe is housed in an old village house which is an interesting site. You could tell the owner spent a lot of effort in designing the concept of the cafe. Upon walking into the door, the female waitress stopped us immediately to take temperature and told us that the place is fully booked. She told us to take the seats outside. We felt like we were intruding into her cafe. We took the seats outside. While ordering, my friend asked if photos can be taken in the cafe. The same waitress did not answer the question directly but mentioned again that the interior of the cafe is fully booked. We ordered two drinks which are rather expensive. The first drink was delivered and the waiter didn’t explain how the specialty coffee is to be drunk. He also didn’t mention what drink it was. There was a moment of awkwardness. The second drink came only 20 to 30 minutes later which was too slow for a drink.
Given that the cafe is in such an interesting location and it’s so nicely decorated, the service is truly not up to mark. Perhaps the service staff can go through a more rigorous training.
