I wanted to try this BBQ restaurant ever since they've open but there were just too many people going there. Tonight, I didn't make any booking and just walk-in to see my luck. Luckily it was my lucky day, they managed to squeeze us in till 7:30 so we were very happy. We have high expectation as we tried the same restaurant in Taiwan and it was such a great experience. But instead, I found out that they didn't have enough staff and also they only tell their promotion to customer who book the tab
We have high expectation as we tried the same restaurant in Taiwan and it was such a great experience. But instead, I found out that they didn't have enough staff and also they only tell their promotion to customer who book the table, if you walk-in, you get nothing special.
Ox tongue:
A must order item in Taiwan so we tried it in Hong Kong as well. It tasted quite good and very easy to chew. It was thin and juicy.
Short rib:
Short rib was tasty, the texture was memorable as it was soft and after a few bite, it melted in my mouth. The flavour was spot on.
Rib stripe:
The rib strip was alright, it was actually a bit chewy but the flavour was quite good.
Large intestine:
The intestine is always my favourite. These one here were soft and easy to chew. The miso sauce really lift up the flavour. I really enjoyed it.
Chicken thigh:
We chose the wrong sauce for the chicken thigh as it was too spicy and covered the chicken flavour. The texture was smooth and juicy.
