The shop owner let me play with them and gave me something for them to eat so I could feed them.

But playing with the cats aside ... we did come here to eat. What they serve is basic cha chaan teng classics. There menu is massive. It's also all in Chinese. There is no English and no 10% service charge. Though there are photos of the food. Like most cha chaan tengs they offer classic stir fries that come with a daily soup and hearty bowl of rice.

The  soup of the day was a watercress soup. It was quite good. Rich and sweet with plenty of watercress.

We ordered boyfriend's favorite: Beef and Onion Stir Fry ($75). The beef was tender and juicy with no detection of meat softner. The onions were cooked so well, they were sweet. The sauce itself was also extremely sweet and sticky.

I had my  usual order of Fish Fillet with Cream of Corn Sauce ($68). Lots of sauce and plenty of big chunky pieces of fish. The fish was firm and fresh. The coating fried well. The sauce was delicious. Lots of corn. Sweet and savory at the same time.

Portion size was generous. Food had good wok hei. The place was also extremely tidy. Probably due to they owned cats. But the best part is the cats! I loved playing with them. And the staff was friendly, too. I definitely want to return and play with them again.
