After so many weeks of shutdown, coming here was like coming home to family, and I've really missed this place. Back open this weekend (in time for the Premier League), my friends booked ourselves onto socially distanced tables for drinks, but despite having eaten before arriving, we just couldn't resist ordering more once we saw the dishes arriving at the other patrons' tables. With the owner's keen eye over the kitchen, I ordered my favorite British dish - Fish 'n Chips and I was definitely not disappointed by his standards. The cheesy fries and tacos dishes were also keenly devoured.
I'd describe King's Belly as a sports bar with an old charm pub feel, and I'd definitely invite you get to know the owner and his team on your next visit to Tai Po.
