Joe & the Juice is a popular coffee and juice bar originating from Denmark with various branches around the world. Their motto? Nothing but a bit of healthy fun. And that is what they do right here in Hong Kong.

Located in Times Square, it's geared for take away but there are seats available. After walking by it pretty much every day, I decided to give it a try after a friend told me it was pretty good.

Everything about this place is playful. They pump out fun music. The menu (in English and Chinese) consists of juice, smoothies, coffee and sandwiches with fun names like "Sex Me Up" and "Stress Me Down". When you order, the flirty staff asks for you name and they'll write in on a cup so when your order is ready, they'll call out your name. Just like Starbucks in North America.

I ordered a "Hangover Heaven" (12 oz for $44). This consisted of apple, elderflower and mint. A nice green looking juice. I loved it. Refreshingly sweet, this was a serious thirst quencher. There was hint of mint to give it a bit of freshness.

Will be back to try more items such as their smoothies, coffee and a sandwich. I miss the juice bars that I commonly found in Canada and loved so much. Really glad this place opened up so will be back again and again.
