Restaurant: Momoku (MOKO)

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 🐓Korean Fried Chicken in Sweet Chilli Sauce
This dish is relatively better than expected. Chickens are served in nuggets. No much fats outside but too much coating that makes the crust too thick. Chicken meat are bit overfried with rough texture. But the sauce is fine, strong in Korean spice chilli paste flavour, nicely wrapping the surface of each nugget.

🍚Korean teriyaki sauce rice cake (tteokboki)
This one is rather a disaster. The sauce is fine, savory and bit sweet. But the problem comes from the rice cake. People who have experience cooking Korean rice cake should know that these kind of tteokboki can go bad easily after opening the package. By going bad, the most usual way is that its smell and taste will turn sour. That’s exactly what they served us… even though we asked for a change, the staff still insisted there’s no problem…
