bookmarked this place for awhile, finally got a chance to try. Kyotokatsugyu is japan’s no.1 gyukatsu place from Kyoto, specialising in katsu gyu (beef cutlet). I ordered this 牛三味set, including tenderloin, Chuck flap and sliced thin beef (醬味薄牛）My friend ordered beef Chuck flap & pork filet set. the Chuck flap taste a bit too gamey for my liking, I had to eat them with wasabi to cover the gamey taste.
I ended up like my friend’s pork chop more 😂
But I think is not bad in terms of the price.
What I like the most is the all you can eat salad, I refilled once.. a perfect balance for such heavy meal.

Overall, I think just average in general, not quite lived up to the hype ..
but still worth trying if in the area when you miss Japanese beef cutlet.
