Beautifully displayed, we had a very hard time choosing which cake because we want it all! Beautifully displayed, we had a very hard time choosing which cake because we want it all! Finally we decided Pistachio chiffon, K11 limited offer Okinawa pinapple & banana chiffon cakes and a Japanese peach bavarois.
The chiffon cake is soft, airy, moist and fluffy. From their web I also learned that they use Hokkaido Nakazawa fresh cream in all their cakes.
The crushed Okinawa Pinapple pieces on top gives a distinct flavor. Fresh Hokkaido cream filled the middle with perfect consistent. The banana whipped cream is dense and stablised but not overly sweet.
The Pistachio chiffon cake is full of ground pistachio nuts. Love the strawberries on top are not coated in heavy syrup. Again the middle are filled with fresh milk cream!
Lastly, the eye-catchy donut shape bavarois. Impressive fresh japanese diced peaches, strawberries and edible flowers with isinglass coating. Perfect with black coffee.
