I’m sure you have heard of Lady M and if you have tried them before, sure they have made your heads turned. Coming back with their lunch sets -starter, main, cake, and drink at $198 or main, cake, and drink at $168, my friend and I chose the latter as we thought the starter would be tiny. We went for the Spicy Thai Basil Omnipork Spaghetti and Wild Morel Risotto. As someone who has never tried Omnipork, this spaghetti was a fantastic introduction to it, I wouldn’t be able to tell it wasn’t minced meat at all. We could really taste the Thai basil in the spaghetti and we couldn’t have opted for a better option. The Risotto was delicious, the chef managed to give the risotto a heavy earthy flavour and we loved it. Rice was chewy but most importantly not soggy.

For the drinks, we got the Early Grey Latte and Americano, both came in hot, the latte was presented very exquisitely and didn’t taste too sugary which I liked, the American tasted just like any standard American you could find out there.

Here comes the most exciting part - the cakes. We got the Gâteau Nuage and a limited edition mille crepe - the Popcorn mille crepe. All of their cakes looked equally appetising to me so it was very difficult to lay my fingers on any one of them. The integrity of their cakes is always good and although the cheesecake may look dense, it didn’t actually taste like that, it was soft and creamy with a slight touch of airy-ness. The popcorn crepe was novel and I liked how they come up with new styles of crepes every now and then, looking forward to their next designs!
