We also had some cold noodles with cucumber, assorted nuts and herbs, and shrimp cake. I did not try this but my dinner buddy said that it tasted marvelous and had that clean, crisp, fresh feeling. She said eating it was like brushing your teeth in the sense that it was really refreshing. I suppose it's a good food choice during the summer where a little refreshment can go a long way.

Then the Vietnamese fried rice arrived which was a little too spicy (for rice), in my opinion. The shrimp paste used in the fried rice was a tad too salty and left a grimy feeling in the mouth. This was my least liked dish.

We also had fried chicken which was nothing extra special, although the chicken skin was wonderfully crispy.

And lastly, we had the Rice Ravioli which was my favourite dish of the night. It was bursting with flavour in every bite. It would've been perfect if not for the heavy, carb-loaded feeling it gave me afterwards.

I liked how they added sides to almost all the dishes we ordered - our mixed satay and rice ravioli came with Vietnamese salami. All in all, it was a wonderful dinner with delicious Vietnamese fare. Would I come back? Yes, definitely.
