We were looking for place to have late dinner last week, so decided to give it a try at the restaurant. Once came out from the lift, we were greeted by a huge photo with Hollywood star, Chow Yun-Fatt and the lady boss at the entrance. There was only one table when we went in there, and they looked like regulars there. The restaurant is not luxuriously decorated, but rather cosy and simple.

We've ordered their dinner set which comes with soup, main course, and desserts or drinks. We've ordered angel hair pasta in creamy mushroom sauce with chicken wings and fried udon with chicken wings (add fried egg) for main course and have red bean soup for desserts. Watercress soup was served before the main course. The soup was alright, just like normal home-cooked soup. For the mains, angel hair pasta in creamy mushroom sauce with chicken wings - i know it is quite risky to order for creamy sauce dishes but decided to give it a try. But just as expected, dissapointed. The sauce was plain and the chicken wings was a little too salty. I didn't finish it. Luckily the fried udon was not as bad (even though it doesn't taste like fried udon, boiled udon with black sauce more likely). The chicken wings was the same as those served in the angel hair pasta. The red bean soup was alright, taste like home-cooked ones too. We didn't know that the dinner set comes with another complimentary desserts - pudding. Tried that too, but there was no surprises. Didn't finish it too..

Overall, this restaurant was ok. Service was alright, envinronment was ok, food wise, didn't really like their main courses, but their desserts are good. Even though this trip wasn't really a satisfying trip, but I would say that their desserts are quite good as we've had previously tried some other desserts e.g. sweet tofu (豆腐花), glutinous rice balls, mango soft rolls, etc.
