I like La Rotisserie. I think they make fabulous chicken. They believe in butter. It's so wonderful. I guess it was late, so the only pie left was French apple pie so I ordered a slice. The staff packed it in a box and I sat outside.

The apple pie was covered with toasted almonds. It wasn't too sweet but I could have used a bit more apple and a touch more cinnamon and nutmeg. Crust was flakey and crumbled nicely.

Anyways, while I was sitting there, enjoying my apple pie, the staff came out and poured me a glass of wine as they still had exactly a small glass left over that would most likely be tossed. Free booze! WOW! Thanks man! That was really nice of him. It was a Reisling and was actually really good. Sweet and crisp. It made the apple pie a whole lot better.
