I came to Tiffany Lounge two years ago. I was left with a good impression of the place: service was good, food was good, and atmosphere was good. Yesterday at around 5:30 pm, I returned to the Tiffany Lounge in hopes of having the same experience. But I was sorely disappointed.
After having to seat ourselves, the waitress took a long time before providing us with menus. We promptly ordered three afternoon tea sets. According to the menu, a set includes an assortment of pastries, tuna on eggs with caviar, smoked salmon sandwiches, and parma sandwiches.
However, what was served did not match the description. Our sets had two items less than we had expected. Instead of the three decadent savory treats that we were promised, we got tiny dry chicken sandwiches. There were no eggs, no smoked salmon, no parma.
If for some reason, you choose to dine here, know that you will get less service and less food. Even though the afternoon tea is more affordable, you still won't be getting your money's worth.
