The placeIt is very open almost like a food-court, so if you are looking for privacy and quiet chat, this might not be the best choice. It is self serviced, you have to order and pay for your food from their cashier counter first and they would ask for your table number as they will deliver the food to your table. But you still need to get your own glass of water (if u want one). This isn't the kind of Brick Lane I went to in Tsim Sha Tsui. More like a fastfood restaurant version of Brick Lane.W

We didn't have to queue and wait as it wasn't peak time when we got there just before 1pm but the place was just full when we were leaving.

Order and wait time
Around 10 minutes the first dish arrived and 5 more minutes the 2nd dish followed.

The food
D1 Fish 'n' Chips ($118), unexpectedly this actually came first! Maybe the fish was already prepped, the crust was very very thick, but still crunchy and hot, the fries were great. The fish meat is thick, but since the crust is very thick you cant really cut it into pieces that are too small and eat elegantly, you actually need a big mouth to be elegant in this case, or you prefer crushing them into smaller pieces. But since I had a big mouth, c'est ne pas problem~~ The chips were hot and fine.

A1 Classic English Breakfast ($98)
This came second, I specifically requested the egg to be well cooked to my gf's preference. I personally prefer not but I want to share it with her so.... the bread was so hard!! I need to put much more effort just to cut through it... but it tastes fine. The ham and bacon were actually quite similar in look, but the ham could be easily cut while the bacon could not... it isn't the type of bacon I was looking for, so it's probably the least liked food in this dish for me. The sausage is only a bit pan fried to give it the frying look, but it tastes like it has been mostly boiled instead. The mushroom was plenty, but there was no particular seasoning to it, so yeah you get a genuine and pure mushroom taste. There was also a piece of triangular hashbrown, most places using this type of hashbrown always made its crust really hard when frying it, but here they actually did a good job frying it.  If I could choose, I prefer the mcdonald's type of hashbrown.

The set comes with a selection of tea, we chose earl grey and english breakfast tea, which are tea bag in small cups.

DId I get a stomach-ache?No, no raw meat there and cutlery and dishes were fine.

Would I recommend this to others?
Ummm.. I quite like Brick Lane, but it's not really what I expected, the food could be better as I had much better all-day breakfasts elsewhere for a similar price. As for the fish and chips, I also had better ones but maybe for a higher price in the $150+ range.. the crust would be thinner and the fish more tender.. maybe I should have tried some other foods in their menu. I might still go again.. but not any time soon.
