The afternoon tea set comes with a selection of savoury and sweet canapes while the scones and biscuits were Lipton tea infused. Traditionally, you should have the savoury sandwiches first, then move on to other sweets bites. But today, it is recommended that we should enjoy the scones and biscuits first since they have stronger Lipton tea flavour.Lipton tea biscuitThe tea flavour is prominent and it was halfly dipped into chocolate which gave an extra sweetness to the very crispy biscuit. The scone is also filled with tea flavour. The buttery scone was crumbly with raisin giving an extra sweetness to the carb.

The salmon was fresh although the caviar wasn't very flavourful. The toast was also not crispy after being left out for too long.

I liked that the egg was not too hardeneed even after hardboiled. The sliced egg was soft and complimented nicely with the light truffle mayo, yet again, the toast is not crispy and rather soggy.

The prawn cocktails tasted nice with a fresh seafood taste and the crab roes gave a good crunch to it. The toast was a little bit crispier than the previous ones.

The bite size quiche was savoury with a strong flavour, while the tart base was quite sweet which went quite balancely with the salted bacon. Sponge cake
The sponge cake actualy had nothing special, yet it was actually pretty soft and fluffy in texture. Not bad at all although not my kind of dessert.
