There is only one other person in the restaurant at 4pm. I am here for a quick late lunch/early dinner, and have decided to use good old eatigo for a discount. I order classics - shoyu ramen (original $88), and chicken karaage (original $38). The noodles come out and the serving looks small at first glance. However, I found the bowl to be quite deep, so it was a regular serving after all. The noodles are ordinary, machine manufactured noodles, and really nothing special. Toppings include chicken slices, chashuu, negi/ Japanese spring onion, menma bamboo, wood-ear fungus and a soft-centred egg. The chicken breast slice is surprisingly tender, and as I recall, cooked using sous vide method and so retains it's moisture well. The pork was good too, and tender, much like the chicken. Overall the ramen is ok, but nothing too exceptional.
The chicken karaage came out piping hot, but I had to request mayonnaise separately as it doesn't come with anything. It is deliciously juicy, with a hint of ginger, and I enjoy this very much.
Would I return? Maybe, but only with an eatigo discount.
