After a busy day at work, I decided to pack food back home for dinner tonight. Hong Kong Taste was located at Fuk Chak Street, Tai Kok Tsui. Being a modern style cha chan teng, their menu was comprehensive, offering a wide range of food such as snacks, noodle, rice, main dishes and drinks etc. Iced lemon tea and hot lemon tea were sweet and refreshing, with strong tea taste and lemon flavour. Singapore style fried vermicelli - It was fried till flavourful and chewy, with generous serving of prawn and sliced ham. Prawns were fresh and juicy and ham was chewy.
Fried rice with ham in XO sauce - Fried rice was chewy and fragrant, not too sticky. There were alot of ham and egg in it.
Beef cube with pineapple in satay sauce - Beef cube was cooked till tender and juicy, chewy as well, Pineapple was sweet and juicy, going well with the satay sauce.
