We always preferred Thai food and since we will not be able to travel to Thailand anytime soon, we decided to have Thai food for dinner tonight. Coconut ice was smooth and milky in texture, sweet and have strong coconut taste. Longan ice was clear and refreshing, and the longan was juicy and chewy.
Green papaya salad with spicy lime dressing - It was very appetizing, spicy and sour in taste. Papaya salad was crunchy and juicy, with prawns and peanuts in it making it chewy.
Charcoal grilled satay skewer - We ordered a stick of chicken and pork each, and were grilled till juicy and chewy. Satay sauce was provided to enhance the taste.
Tom Yum Kung seafood noodle - The chef was generous with the portion, with plenty of ingredients in it such as mushroom, prawn, squid and clams etc. Those seafood were fresh and chewy, absorbing the essence of the soup. Soup was spicy and sour in taste, very appetizing. Flat noodle was soft and smooth as well.
Stir fried clams with chilli paste - The gravy was thick in texture and was creamy and flavourful, slightly spicy in taste. Clams were fried till chewy and smooth.
Bangkok fried baby oyster omelette - It was served in a huge round plate, and was fried till crispy. Baby oyster was soft and smooth, juicy as well. There were bean sprouts beneath it, which was crunchy and sweet in taste.
Mango sticky rice was chewy and sticky in texture, going well with the coconut milk provided, which was sweet. Mango was sweet and juicy, able to taste the freshness.
