I love Creole and Louisana cuisine but most of the restaurants that serve it have closed such as Blue Smoke, Restoration etc.When I heard of Mr. Crab by The Captain's House, I had to give it the benefit of the doubt being in Wanchai and the fact that it has been here for quite a while so the food should be good.They also have another branch at TST called The Captain's House which was not so impressive but Mr.Crab impressed me on this visit!!When you arrive, you are greeted by tanks of lobsters a

When I heard of Mr. Crab by The Captain's House, I had to give it the benefit of the doubt being in Wanchai and the fact that it has been here for quite a while so the food should be good.

Started with the popcorn cauliflower which had a nice crunch with lots of spices.

The seafood gumbo was comforting as it tasted quite close to the one I had ages ago packed with okra etc.

The Seafood bag was ok but it was a bit too spicy so next time I will probably choose the lemon and dill cream.

I loved the Dirty fried rice which has chicken liver and sausage bits.
