We came here for a bowl of their famous curry brisket noodles. It was a mixed bag, with mostly positives. The service here is gruff, but friendly. We immediately ordered two curry beef brisket with noodles. We also got a cup of milk tea.The tea was fine - strong and milky, but not the best. The curry itslefwas really soul warming. The sauce was rich and thick. It was a darker colour than many other places make it and it was definitely a little sweeter. I really loved it, but my wife found

The tea was fine - strong and milky, but not the best. The curry itslefwas really soul warming. The sauce was rich and thick. It was a darker colour than many other places make it and it was definitely a little sweeter. I really loved it, but my wife found it a little too sweet. She liked it, but not as much as me (I have a sweet tooth). The beef was tender and well cooked as were the potatoes. I had a lot more potatoes than meat and wife had the opposite.
The noodles were OK, just some standard thin ones. I would have preferred thicker egg noodles as they would have added even more comfort to the dish.
All in all, it was a good meal. The dish was good, but not without fault. The price was good - 43 dollars a piece.
