We farewelled a friend by having lunch here. I ordered from the weekend brunch menu, the website has a "sample" brunch menu which almost mirrored what was available to us on the day.

The seafood starter was lovely. The serving is one of each seafood item per person - so 1 oyster, 1 prawn, 1 mussel etc.

I enjoyed the second starter of cured mackerel, but found that eating it at the same time as the asparagus and duck egg a conflict of tastes.

The main course of salmon and sides (sugar snap peas, carrots and potatoes) were tasty , and was accompanied with a Yorkshire pudding.

Sadly I could not sample dessert as I had to leave. It has a knockout ambience, great for special occasions.  I look forward to coming back here again!
