I had the 1837 afternoon tea - excellent scones, plenty of cream and jam and a nice big pot of tea. I loved the tea book with all the details of the different teams, and the plush comfy chairs and the staff were very polite and helpful. The only downside was the opera music blasting out loudly- not relaxing at all! The staff told me they're not allowed to turn it down, and even wearing noise cancelling headphones I couldn't block it out!
