We enjoyed a quick lunch here on the weekend. I was pleasantly surprised that the lunchset was available. We tried the tzatziki and roasted eggplant dips, both were delicious, especially the tzatziki. The “deconstructed” souvlaki was.....interesting. I am used to a massive pita rolled up with meat and salad inside. We were given one smallish pita each, cut in half. It’s tricky to roll up the half slice pita with the accompanying meat (pork or chicken), tomato (cut in wedges, not sliced), parsley and onion. It tasted fine but clearly can be a bit messy - thankfully the staff gave us wet wipes afterwards. Perhaps it is served this way so the dish can be shared, if desired.
Both the pork and chicken were tasty ....although with the chicken I preferred the dark meat pieces. I’ll probably come again to try some of the a la carte dishes .
