5 minute waiting time, and quantity was just right (not too much and not too little).
We have a lot of experience with high quality north indian food, so we were pleasantly surprised about the quality and taste of this lunch.
The appetizers were excellent (especially the chicken tikkas with lemon), and the indian samosas (although tiny and not the traditionally large punjabi one) was quite good as well, but we were missing any chutney or imly sauces with it.
The gravies of the main dishes were extremely flavorful (love the curry bhata leaf in the Chicken madras), but lacking some salt and needed to be a lot more spicy (It was stated on the menu that it would only be MEDIUM spiced). But if add you own salt to taste and some more spice, the curries were a home run. The meats in both main dishes were just enough (smaller chunks and not too many so you did desire for some more, but the amount was just right).
Wish the "rice" that came with the dish was basmati rice (it came with chinese medium grain rice instead), but maybe it can be especially requested.
Naan was quite large and perfect size for lunch.
The popperdam was not our favorite - we like the punjabi version which is extra crispy and been fried in ghee. These were semi-soft and dry (like baked).
The highlight also goes to the galub jamun - excellent flavor, just the right amount of sweetness - not too sweet.
Would definitely recommend this restaurant and the takeaway set lunch (the set lunch menu on weekends/holidays differ from normal weekends so check in or call beforehand).
