Had lunch today with colleagues, last time tried their 串燒, pretty good so want to try their lunch today, but the result was extremely disappointed, I really doubt I will go again.When we arrived the restaurant was totally empty, I thought...maybe because it's location too far....ok then we look at the manual, starting from $58 (vegetable noodle...not interested), then curry pork chop $68, grill chicken $68, grill "ching" fish $98, sashimi rice bowl $88, mince toro rice bowl $120....quite expensi
When we arrived the restaurant was totally empty, I thought...maybe because it's location too far....ok then we look at the manual, starting from $58 (vegetable noodle...not interested), then curry pork chop $68, grill chicken $68, grill "ching" fish $98, sashimi rice bowl $88, mince toro rice bowl $120....quite expensive...to save $$ I ordered the curry pork chop, then waitress asked me spicy or not, I ordered spicy, my colleague not spicy, other colleagues ordered the sashimi rice bowl, grill "ching" fish set and grill chicken.
The curry arrived first, my spicy one is different then my colleague's non-spicy one, mine is not japanese style curry......portion is small, and the pork chop extremely thin, I think the meat is only about 3mm thick...the worst is the color....so grey that it look nothing like JPN 吉列, the 吉列 oyster I made at home look better.....the taste is just so so but still not worth $68 lor.
Then came the sashimi rice bowl, the sashimi is ok but the egg dice...color so yellow and look like plastic XD, and I smell sasami oil.....I really never tried any sashimi rice bowl with sasami oil lor....and heard the taste also so so, too sweet even soy sauce, they pour some sort of sauce to the rice and that just make the dish taste weird!! XD
The other two dishes also not worth to mention, we all think will definitely not go back again!!! Not to mention the starter only arrived when we almost finished the meal....and you know what? Kimchi!!! I was like "8 ng dap 8", but anyway I tried.....it way too salty that I felt a bit bitter....what the hack is that ?!?!
I have to also apology that this was my suggestion and wasted their time and $$$$.....
