As we were a party of 6 deposit was required to a table at this small restaurant. Slight confusion when I returned their call to confirm my table and the two staff couldn’t do so right away. This place has been opened long enough for them to iron out these issues.

Lunch itself was overall enjoyable with service being friendly and efficient as one can expect.

The carpaccio and veal antipasti hit the spot and were perfect for sharing.

The ragout’s spiciness really helped alleviate the pasta’s flavour and the lasagna was complex despite being vegetarian. Most of us found the sea urchin linguine to be a bit weird as it was hard to pinpoint where the sweetness came from.

The ribeye was enjoyed by all but not so much the veal cutlet - those of us who’ve tried it in Italy made unfavourable comparisons.

Both the tiramisu and complimentary birthday cheesecake were normal.
