Rainy day .... stranded and grey. Plans for sunshine by the beach in La tau is forced to cancel and we resorted to have a tea buffet at Novotel. The tea buffet is around HKD150 per head and the theme for the buffet is Mango Lime. Not a huge variety of food but the selection are very family friendly. Most recommended: Thai Style Grilled Pork Neck. Tender pork neck coupled with the spicy-sour Thai sauce opens up your appetite.
Local street food with a twist: Eggette with fresh mango. I personally prefer just eggette. It's hard to eat with bare hands and the mango makes the eggette all soggy. Seems like they added mango just to compliment the Mango Lime theme.
