I went to Philippe through travel agency many years ago and felt foods awful in taste. Also a cake bought in supermarket was very very sweet. Those experience gave me the impression that Filipino cuisine was not my cup of tea. From the name of this eatery, Foodtrip Bedana’s Filipino seems to me that it was Filipino cuisine and there were a few positive reviews in openrice. As I am adventurous person who look for tasty and new flavour of foods, I visited this eatery. It was situated in alley. Ther
It was situated in alley. There was only one waitress who was also cashier. The environment was a bit humble & small and there was alfresco seating provided. Surprisely, there was a bar and wines were provided and so did a TV showing Filipino singing programme. There were lunch set ranged $55-62. However, A la carte was much more expensive. I got Kaldereta ($95) which menu stated that beef stew sautéed in chopped garlic onion tomato. There were a few wedges of deep-fried potatoes. Compared with curry meat cuisine, the portion of potaotes was lesser than common café. To my disappointment, they were hard mouthfeel. Fortunately, the brisket was not tough, but not as tender as they could be. The taste was mild, not strong enough of Borscht flavour. I think it is not a good choice for a person who like mild to strong flavour.
I got plain rice $10 in order to pairing with the meat dish. All in all, the total expenditure was $110. I did not think it worth of it and so I will not come back again.
