Spotted this place a while ago in January because it looks like the cinemas in the UK.The Genesis cinema at Whitechapel, London.I went here because of the Matcha eggtart.Normally I am quite picky with eggtarts because the locals ones have a weird buttery taste and the egg filling is always too sweet and the eggtart base (shortcrust pastry or puff pastry) is always oily.The one here is addictive. If I wasn't having dinner I would have had another because the matcha filling is almost liquid and the egg taste is balanced by the matcha on a light crumbly shortcrust pastry base which is flawless.

$20 might be expensive but I would rather pay for this than have a local eggtart which has a nasty oily tart base that has an overwhelming lard smell.

Other items they offer.
