It seems McDonald's has decided to get in on the cheese tea craze with a whole new set of teas with a layer of cheese foam on top. They claim to be using European and New Zealand cheese. Like one country isn't enough, they have to include a whole range of countries.

With this new drink series, they have been actively giving away two of their basic flavors: tall black coffee and four seasons tea.  They had  pop-up shop in Causeway Bay's Hysan Place. They also were offering it for free at all their McCafe's if you have the McDonald's app. As boyfriend and I both have the app, we each got a free drink.

I had the four seasons tea. It was ok. A bit on the bland side and the tea wasn't very fragrant. The cheese topping was ok. Slightly salty and creamy enough.

Boyfriend ordered the tall black coffee. I basically don't like black coffee so it was just plain bitter with a sudden hit of salty cheese foam. I wasn't a big fan but boyfriend liked it.

They have other flavors. I may try the berry one later. But for the ones they are giving away? I won't order again. I wasn't a fan.
