I've been to Bloom twice, and frankly the first time left much to be desired. The second time however, was very good. Some dishes are pretty average, you just have to know what to order! As a huge mac and cheese lover, have to say the dish there was blah. Yes it was creamy, and the texture of the macaroni was nice, but flavour was bland and portioned too small for the price tag. Ordered a vodka soda, and it was insanely strong - tasted like pure vodka with ice cubes. On to the yummy things. Bloo

On to the yummy things. Bloom does protein REALLY well. The beef carpaccio was so good we had to order another. The steak was massive and perfect for sharing, we had one between four. The star of the meal was their pork served two ways, ribs and loin. Oh boy, the loin was heavenly. Juicy, tender and succulent. Definite winner.
All in all I think it's a good restaurant with some stand out dishes. The atmosphere is pleasant, with soft warm lighting (thumbs up for first dates). Service was good. I like!
