Came here by myself after tutoring someone across the street.I am really into Italian food and had always wanted to try this restaurant. I was greeted by a Filipino waitress. There, everyone speaks English, even the chefs.
I looked at the lunch sets -- not many choices. I did not want steak since I could probably get better steak somewhere else. So I chose the tortelini pasta with cream sauce even though I don't really like tortelini but there was only amatraciana pasta or something (can't really remember) which I used to always cook and eat or the lunch set priced at 180 HKD which was too expensive and had an extra unnecessary course.
I think my lunch was around 140hkd, including soup, main pasta, drink and dessert. I changed dessert to tiramisu which was an extra 20HKD.
Soup was OK. Didn't like some of the veggies in the minestrone.
Main pasta was not hot enough, no presentation, cream sauce was not top-notch and ham was just cheap ham.
Coffee was way too bitter. Really poor coffee, I barely could finish.
I looked over at the cups of tiramisu while eating pasta then regretted I ordered it. They were ready-made and looked weird in those cups. When it came, the coffee taste was way too strong and they probably used their bad coffee to make it.
If the meal was like 100HKD, I would not complain. But considering I paid like 180 HKD (including tips), I would not go there again.
