I came to pick up some shopping at Elements and was happy to see they have a nice Das Gute bread and cake shop here. So I bought some nice breads.When it was time for lunch, I wandered around to see where one person could have lunch and thought this restaurant looked quite relaxing. The photo on the poster outside showed a very nice dish of fried chilli and mince pork rice noodles. It happened to be part of a lunch set that came with a drink. I chose a longan ice drink. The photo on the poster outside showed a very nice dish of fried chilli and mince pork rice noodles. It happened to be part of a lunch set that came with a drink. I chose a longan ice drink.
The drink came first and although a bit bland was refreshing as I love the taste of longan and actually prefer it not so sweet. The noodles took a while and when it came, it looked like a plate of children's mince food. Well, I thought looks mean nothing but it was quite tasteless, no chilli taste and the mince meat tasted frozen and had no meat taste. I had to dig around for the noodles and didn't finish the dish.
Oh well, looks can be decieving. Try somewhere else next time.
