Satay Beef noodles - it offers different style of satay beef noodles than most of the places. The beef slices turn out like the ones in hot pot but lean version. The satay is in the soup base rather than, as many other restaurants, as a thickened sauce together with the beef. For the noodles, you need to eat it fast, it soaks up the soup and inflates itself relatively quickly. Not so recommended for take away. (take away $17)
Chicken pie - so so only. crunchy top but a bit too sweet. It contains few big chunks of chicken meat.
Beef bun - I personally do not like this kind of beef bun. Inside it contains minced up things which I couldn't tell if they were beef or what. Allegedly they are corn beef but I suspect they add something more to it. I find it tastes a bit funny, not in a positive sense.
Fresh beef & egg sandwich - pretty good and better than some places. The beef was not extensively processed with soda powder. ($11 I think)
Corn beef & egg sandwich - OKish, not as good as the last one. ($11 I think)
Overall this place is nice and cheap. Much recommended
Next time I try 菠蘿油.
