This is one of very few places in HK serving fried Shanghai soup dumplings (made it to the 2016 Michelin Guide, apparently, and now being franchised). At roughly $28, you could get 4 servings of pork dumplings. The dumpling skin is just ever so slightly on the thick side, but overall the chewy dumplings with their crispy base, juicy and savory broth, and tender pork altogether are such a delight! Note of caution: the shrimp dumpling (at $36 for 4) is not really noticeably different from the signature pork variety.
Unfortunately there are no chairs in the shop so if you'd like to savor these dumplings fresh out of the pan you'd have to stand!
