Canapes:
Here was the menu that we tried that night.
Began with the soups which were all freshly poured in front of you.
Matsutake and Kinoko Soup was the lightest one.
Foie Gras Miso Soup was interesting as it tasted like Chinese preserved liver sausages.
Lobster Broth with Fresh Mushroom was rich and creamy.
These were the mains we had.
Grilled Chicken roulade with Teriyaki Truffle Sauce
Nishikyo Roasted Black Cod Filet with Miso Sauce
Grilled A Miyachiku Wagyu with Shichimi and Lion Road Sauce
Personally I liked the cod as it was delicately grilled to perfection.
The desserts were a nice surprise but then Lion Rock always whips up fun and instaworthy desserts that blow your mind.
There was Green Tea creme Brulee, Wasabi Chocolate Cake and Rose and White peach Cake.
The peach one was amazing as it was filled with real peach infused with a rosy touch.
