went to kwong kee congee shop again for breakfast in the morning with mum,
we've been here a few times in the past because of it's convenience as it is very close to home.
anyway, we arrived at about 10:30am when there wasn't much people so we had seats straight away.
the price is quite reasonable with many variety of congee. there are also a variety of snacks/appetizers and even a few choices of rice.

we ordered a serve of 'preserved egg+corned beef congee' (皮蛋咸牛肉粥), a serve of 'rice rolls' (腸粉) and also a 'ox-tongue pastry' (牛脷酥). i also order a cold soybean milk (凍豆漿).

the 'preserved egg+corned beef congee' was quite normal, it wasn't too thick nor too watery. there was quite a lot of ingredients and preserved eggs in it too

the rice rolls were quite nice. it was very soft and quite silky. with the addition of sweet sauce and peanut sauce is perfect.

the 'ox-tongue pastry' (牛脷酥) was quite disappointing. it was rather over-fried and hard to bite.
however the soy milk was quite nice. it wasnt too sweet but not tasteless either. it did not have a powdery taste like some other places soy milk

overall, i think kwong kee congee shop is a fine place to have a ordinary breakfast or supper with family and friends. they have fast servicing so usually there is no waiting time needed.
