This is my first trial here. This place is just 5 minutes walk from Tin Hau mtr station. We arrived at around 1:30 and had to wait only 10 minutes for a table of 2. Be ready to share table with other guests because there are only 3 big round tables for 7 people and 1 table for 4. Seats are “Cha Chan Ting” style and not the most comfortable but it’s okay as we came here for the food not the environment (although it is slightly annoying that the waitress keep bumping into my back...😂maybe I am too
I ordered one bowl of pork patty rice with egg while my friend ordered Kayan toast. We wanted to get the rice rolls but those are unfortunately sold out 😭
The pork patty rice is one the the best 😍that I have ever had, and it is just $30! Totally enough for me (and most girls, I gathered) but boys may need to order a bit more 🤔
The pork is juicy and cooked to perfection! Egg York is 💯 See photo-> it tastes as good as it looks!
The Kayan toast flavour is quite special and I loved it, but it is quite a small portion... for $20 a toast I expected at least normal thickness toast 😂 but it tastes nice and worth a try
Overall, I love this place! Would like to try the Cha siu scrambled egg rice (I ate too much Cha siu recently or would have ordered)
Good place to bring foreign friends to get to know local cuisines😁
