Baked Chicken with rice

We went there for a birthday celebration. The restaurant was quite nice with a live band. The atmosphere was good but we were a bit disappointed with what we ordered. The presentation was good but most of the food did not taste so great. We ordered 2 soup. The mushroom soup was OK but the onion soup was far too salty. The soup temperature was perfect but it was so salty that the 3 of us couldn't finish one soup. We only finished the mushroom soup. We ordered a baked chicken rice. The portion and the taste of the rice was great. I loved the whole fresh garlic baked on the rice but the chicken lacked flavor. There was no flavor that we had to add our own pepper and salt . The pizza was overall OK. The fish was very disappointing for what it cost (almost $300 for this dish). It was baked in salt and looked absolutely amazing when served to our table. We expected a very flavorful fish but we found the fish soggy, soaked in too much olive oil and did not have any taste at all. It would have been nice if the fish was drier with more flavor. I can see there was a piece of lemon and something that looked like garlic on the fish but we couldn't taste any seasoning /herb at all. The apple crumble was also not what we expected. The presentation was good but the apples were sour. If there was a scoop of ice cream to compliment it , it may have been better. Overall the comfort/service of the restaurant was acceptable. I have lots of group gathering and the restaurant would be perfect for our gatherings if there is improvement in the food. I would give it another chance a later in the future to see if it's any better.
