We came here after seeing positive reviews and left feeling bad. After some backwards and forwards with the friendly, but non-English speaking ladies there, we ordered some Peking pork noodles and Shanghai fried noodles.  We ordered thick ones, but soon wished we hadn't.  So the Peking noodles came out first.  They were really sweet with cold pieces of pork and cucumber in them.  The sauce was not heated, but the noodles were hot.  The flavour wasn't the best and they were just pre-made udon nood

The flavour wasn't the best and they were just pre-made udon noodles.  Not what we expected at all.  The dish was also full of MSG.  The roof of my mouth started to lose sensation from it.

The Shanghai noodles came next and were basically udons with cabbage, spam, pork, beansprouts and ham.  They tasted like cheap English Chinese takeaway, but from a really bad place.  They were also full of MSG.

We left feeling a little queasy from the MSG overload and cold sweated our way home.

Maybe we chose badly - I think there was an element of this, but the levels of MSG were crazy.  It was cheap and locals seem to like the place, but we won't be returning.
