Sausage lovers will not be disappointed at Brat! With more than 10 different sausage selection, one will be spoiled for choice. I have become an instant fan of Brat from my first visit and have been going back on a weekly basis. Their sausages are extremely flavoursome, paired with a perfectly toasted dark rye or white flour bun + your choice of mustard and/or condiments, served in a cute customized chopping board (I wanted to steal it when i first saw it!) - a hot dog does not get better tha
I've tried almost all the sausages at Brat. I don't take spicy or cilantro, so the Habeneros and Chorizo are not for me. My personal favouriteS (yea it's difficult to have just one!) include the Sun-dried tomato (seems to be a popular based on the other reviews here!), Gruyere - cheesy and juicy, this goes well with caramelized onions, Portobello mushroom - an explosion of flavours with the sweetness of mushroom is great paired with mustard! The Brat and the Frank are perfect for those who prefer a more traditional hot dog but they are also more flavoursome and juicy than the average hot dog you get around town!
Hot dog is the star of the show but Brat also makes one of the best fries in town! Its extremely cripsy fries is ADDICTIVE! Make sure you order the Truffle Mayo because it's simply to-die-for!
Serving the same menu at lunch, their lunch set is a great deal - hot dog + Fries + coffee/tea! I also like to go for dinner as it's a great place to just chill and catch up with friends over a few beers and a great hotdog (or two)!
