The appetiser platter comes with deep fried dumplings, chicken pieces, chicken wings and beef croquettes. Very nice (but pretty fulfilling) starter for the meal!
The sashimi salad is SO NICE - crispy lettuce served with a mix of tuna, salmon and (possibly) hamachi cubes on vinegar dressing. Great match and we had two bowls!

Then there comes the meat! We are a table of 4 so the staff brought us a platter of everything! The chicken cartilage (in the middle of the picture) is my personal favourite! And my brother loved the chicken gizzard (kidney).

The sashimi is so FRESH and THICK! 😂 This is probably what Amazake outdid most of the all-you-can-eat in town. The salmon, yellow tail, scallop, shrimp & salmon rod are all fresh and taste great! We were so full but couldn’t resist to order an additional plate! 😋

Here comes my personal favourite - assorted tempura! It’s impossible to capture how fresh and crispy these thinly coated delicacies are. Whether you are a shrimp or vegetable lover, this does not disappoint 😋 (yes, we ordered an additional plate of vegetable tempura...haha)

Lastly the staff brought the assorted rice rolls - there are spicy salmon, fatty tuna, avocado and probably their house roll (can’t remember the name). We were already so full at this point!

Amazake is in a rather hidden place but once you’ve been there, you just keep going back (like I do!) 😋
I’ve seen reviews complaining about the service, but what I felt was the total contrary! The staff are not only friendly, they are also very caring and kept coming to check what we need 💖
It’s a great place to dine with family over the weekend, or if you want to have a good chat with a friend after work 🤩 hope more people can learn about this hidden gem in Central!
