The restaurant wasn't full when I got there, I hesitated at first as i didn't want my hair and clothes stinking of BBQ smoke and smelling like an old kitchen oven, surprisingly i came out smelling as fresh as how I walked in hahaa. I supposed their exhaust fan were iwell installed (although I looked and looked and I couldn't see them haha)Ok, as I promised my boyfriend I would have this Korean army stew with him.... so I did.... Ok, as I promised my boyfriend I would have this Korean army stew with him.... so I did.... I am not a big fan of processed meat , I might spoil myself with pan fried ham once or twice a year only, but ok here I am! To be honest it is quite a good treat hahaha, especially when you want to give your healthy diet a break! The broth is clear and not oily, the meat and veg are lined up nicely in the broth, the instant noodles is not those cheap ones.
Just like all Korean meals, they give you starters to munch on and drink with your favourite booze, I have ordered banana rice wine this time.
The quality of food is pretty standard, you don't feel like being given some very cheap tin food (for the sausage and ham), the fresh meat is nice too and the waiter is kind and help you to put your noodles in the hot tasty broth at the perfect time (which is when all the meat and veg favour swimming in the broth).
I would like to come again to try their clay pot rice and soup, but not to order this army pot unless I am taking another break in my healthy diet hahaa
Nice place, I like it.
