N.O.T. Speciality Coffee recently opened their newest location in Causeway Bay's Lee Garden One. Originally from Wanchai, it was a really nice coffee shop, serving excellent coffee with a friendly barista. When I heard they had a new shop in Causeway Bay, a location I frequent a lot, I headed there after work to give it a try.Their Causeway Bay location is smaller than their original branch. It has more of a standing room only atmosphere. But there are a few stools but if you are ok with it,
Their Causeway Bay location is smaller than their original branch. It has more of a standing room only atmosphere. But there are a few stools but if you are ok with it, they have small counters to place your coffee if you decide to stand.
Menu is in English only. There is no 10% service charge. Along with coffee, they also have muffins and cakes that are suitable to accompany coffee.
But I was here for a coffee so I ordered a piccolo latte ($30). Size was a bit larger than I was used to but it was nice and strong. There was a slight fruity taste. Milk was smooth and the right consistency.
I'm so glad that there are better coffee shops opening in Causeway Bay now! N.O.T. is a welcome addition and I'll be back again and again. I happened to bump into my coffee loving coworker who shared with me a glass of single origin hand drip. It was lovely. Clear like spring. Loved how the barista really was interested in how we loved our coffee. That is what I want in a coffee shop. A barista who cares. Will always see me here.
