Before Chinese New Year, I went to the spa, and my facialist (who knows I like to check out new restaurants) told me that her friend opened up a new Italian place in Causeway Bay. So, when godbro XO and I were picking a restaurant during the Chinese New Year holidays, I told him that we should check out Neighbor since we were both tired of having Chinese food! From Neighbor's store front on the ground floor, you wouldn't have guessed how big it actually was! From Neighbor's store front on the ground floor, you wouldn't have guessed how big it actually was! It just looked like a tiny cafe from the outside! XO and I got a table one level up, where the decor was a bit nature-like and quite relaxing. From my facialist's pictures on Facebook, it looks like the highest level of the restaurant is the most spacious and can accommodate large parties! My facialist had dinner there with her coworkers, and they had like a party of 14! The back of the menu has a nice play on words!
As we were looking through the menu, I decided to get a mocktail that has the same name as the restaurant!

XO and I both decided to order from the Set Dinner menu, and the restaurant was very accommodating to his food allergies. XO wanted to get a pizza, but since he's allergic to shellfish, he asked if he could substitute it with a Hawaiian pizza, and the server happily obliged! I was actually having difficulty choosing my main, and the server gave me a suggestion that was off menu, which was the spaghetti carbonara with black truffle cream sauce! He was so nice that he let me have it as a set as well!
Our salads and soups showed up quickly!

Thanks to my facialist's recommendation, I was able to come across this neighborhood gem! I would never have guess that Neighbor serves delicious Italian food from its cafe setting at the store front!
