Have been calling and trying to book this place for dinner many times but to no avail. No one picks up. Anyways, walked in for a table for 2 at around 8pm on a weekday and was offered a table which has not been cleaned. The waitress only cleaned it when she was asked to. Saw a live cockroach on the floor before the food arrived. One of the waiters was reluctant to even catch it, but continued socializing with other dining guests. Saw a live cockroach on the floor before the food arrived. One of the waiters was reluctant to even catch it, but continued socializing with other dining guests.
Foodwise, we ordered a rib-eye steak, clams and cuttlefish spaghetti and fried kale. The rib-eye steak was more like medium-rare than medium.. tasted meatless, too charcoal-y and chewy. The spaghetti was too salty and watery. And for the fried kale.. as seen from the picture below it looked and tasted very burnt. Also too salty. We couldn’t finish the whole dish.
The restaurant badly needs a review of its food quality and hygiene level.
