A new cafe that serves more extensive selection of hearty and rustic western dishes at reasonable price. Undoubtedly the food are far from perfect, but appreciate a lot of housemade elements in the dishes that show more dedication and attention to food than most other cafes. The space though is quite cramped and may not be the coziest cafe for a long stay but definitely good for lunch.Spicy pulled pork linguine $88Nice pasta dish with house made tomato sauce that is not as rich as the commercial

Spicy pulled pork linguine $88
Nice pasta dish with house made tomato sauce that is not as rich as the commercialized tomato paste based sauce but taste more authentic in tomato flavor. Hot spring egg and a little spicy kick helped to enrich the sauce. Pulled pork is tender and packed with flavor.

Duck & Waffle $128
Surprised to find a restaurant-y fancy dish in a cafe (a la carte, not included in lunch set). A sous vide duck leg is expected to be tender and fall off the bone but that wasn’t really the case and it was slightly on the dry side. Do commendable to making their own waffle which is puffy but could do a little longer toasting for a crunchier crust. The mustard seed maple syrup marry the sweet and savory note together brilliantly. At this price point, I’m pleasantly satisfied with the generous portion and could forgive the small imperfections.
