He went to the Mayday concert the previous night and was quite exhausted and ready to indulge on some Belgian food with me until he found out one of his favorite DJs was spinning the tunes that night! He decided to forego on a full dinner at Frites and just had a couple snacks while I feasted on yummy mussels! I've been to the Wanchai and Quarry Bay branches of Frites, and this new branch has a similar decor! It had really high ceilings, and the benches and tables make the restaurant look like an upscale beer hall! Frites is Belgium on tap, so of course, they had a few beers on tap! On top of the beers on tap, they also had an extensive drinks menu, titled Beer Bible! I knew from the past that Frites offers fruit beers that I like, so I looked for the page with the fruit beers! I saw that they had a strawberry beer and went for it!
