A new Starbucks outlet has opened in this new office building.Seats looked comfortable. There were few customers inside on this Saturday afternoon near closing time.As for me, the only thing I was looking for was a Wi-fi hotspot. Seats looked comfortable. There were few customers inside on this Saturday afternoon near closing time.As for me, the only thing I was looking for was a Wi-fi hotspot.
The Crayfish Wrap with Lemon & Garlic Prawns ($38) didn't come with crisps that most wraps in SB came along with nowadays. The difference in taste (and even texture for that matter) between the crayfish and prawns wasn't pronounced, and the only taste that was remarkable was from the dressing that tasted like aioli (French garlic mayonnaise). The wrap was floury enough but the whole thing was more like a mayo-loaded salad rolled inside a chewy blanket. Hmm. Washed that down with a cup of Short Skimmed Latte (? $24). Given the weakish espresso base it became a petty comforting milk drink for me.
Perhaps the sculptures in the lobby of the building this Starbucks branch is located are far more interesting that the coffee or food itself.
