New Year first meal! Saw the brunch menu (available from 10am - 4pm), decided to take a look. We were only two, but we were pretty hungry cuz as the typical basic girl, I took ages to get ready (and get out of bed). When we got there it was about 11:30am, the place was half full then. I ordered the Angus beef burger (HKD 158) and my boyfriend ordered the Steak and Eggs (HKD 172). To be honest, I think the food is quite overpriced. We were only two, but we were pretty hungry cuz as the typical basic girl, I took ages to get ready (and get out of bed). When we got there it was about 11:30am, the place was half full then.
I ordered the Angus beef burger (HKD 158) and my boyfriend ordered the Steak and Eggs (HKD 172).
To be honest, I think the food is quite overpriced. We ordered two plates, with service charge, we paid HKD 360 something in total.
Food quality wise, the burger (medium) is okay. I have a big appetite for a girl, and even I struggled to finish. I guess two people can share one burger and order some side dishes for a meal.
Discovered a new way of eating lettuce - dipping it in truffle mayo. Pretty good.
He ordered the steak to be medium well, said it’s a bit too tough. I had a piece, still pretty good.
We had been here before. The decor is nice and all, the food is not bad but not OMG NOM NOM NOM, a bit overpriced. Hope we won’t have to use this as our last resort again in the near future.
